I am delighted to present the second quarterly update of 2023, showcasing some great news stories from our portfolio companies.

This quarter, we also published the Calculus VCT annual report and announced the dividend. We were pleased to show a strong year end performance, with another uplift in total return to shareholders.

The latest figures published by HMRC, show EIS investment soared to record levels in the 2021/22 tax year. 4,480 companies raised £2.3bn under the scheme, an uplift of 39% from the year before. This further endorses the popularity of the product, as investors look to back entrepreneurial UK based companies, which could be the game changers of the future. Our Calculus EIS Fund is open for subscription and invests predominantly in innovative healthcare and technology companies.

If you would like to get in touch with the team to discuss your current portfolio or about making a new investment, they would be very happy to assist; 0207 493 4940/ [email protected]

Best wishes,
John Glencross, Chief Executive
